Definitions
Subject: Person or thing that does something (noun or a pronoun)
Verb: a word that expresses an action, something that happens (occurrence), or a state of being (eg. to appear, to have, etc.)
Object: a person or thing that receives the action of verb.
Adjective: word that describes a noun (eg. My car is blue. The fish is big.)
Adverb: word that describes a verb. They tell us when, where, how, in what manner an action is performed (eg. He walks slowly)
Practice
Write 5 basic sentences for each of the following sentence structures:
